Here at Smokey Barn, there are really only two things that matter to us – coffee and people…though not necessarily in that exact order! We’ve been in business since 2011 and in that time we’ve learned a thing or two about what matters to our customers. People come to us for the finest quality coffee beans and grounds in the world, but they keep coming back to us for our unique approach to customer service.

What sets us apart from most other coffee retailers in the UK right now is the fact that we went into business not to get rich on the back of speciality coffee, but for the pure and simple love of coffee. After all – when was the last time you heard of a genuine coffee geek starting a roasting business out of his own garden shed? That’s exactly how Smokey Barn came to be – humble and unpretentious which is the way we remain to this very day. We know, accept and appreciate the fact that it’s our customers and their loyalty that allow us to keep doing what we love day in and day out, which is why we never take anything for granted at any time.

As you’ll probably be able to tell with just a quick look over our site, Smokey Barn is more about coffee bean quality than quantity. The way we see it, the only way it’s possible to be so intricately selective in terms of the products being sold is to remain a small, independent and dedicated gourmet coffee supplier that operates on a comparatively small scale. After speaking to our most loyal customers it seemed that this was and is exactly what you wanted too – a real business, a small business and a business you can trust implicitly to do the job and do it right.

Whether looking to buy coffee beans for home use or perhaps wholesale coffee for use in your own café, we promise to offer you the same 100% dedicated and focused customer service package we provide each and every customer across the board.

Technically speaking, we have our customers to thank for making our service package what it is today. For example, we have a full UK Barista champion spec San Remo Verona TCS espresso machine hooked up at our HQ and are always happy to offer training and coaching sessions for anyone looking to give their skills a shot in the arm. Whether you’re well on your way to superstardom or have never poured a latte in your life, we’ll help you take that next important step in the right direction.

In addition, we’re also proud to be a licensed supplier of San Remo UK - Professional Espresso Coffee Machines, Grinders and Accessories. These are quite simply the finest pieces of kit you’re likely to come across in the UK at any time in the near future and regularly appear at the UK Barista Championships – just the ticket for sprucing up your own café.

Of course, as a small British business owned and operated by a few bona-fide coffee geeks we’re more than aware of the fact that we still have a lot to learn ourselves.
