Africa

Africa is possibly my favourite continent for coffee. There is so much diversity here. If you want a crazy coffee you can find it in Africa, if you want a sweet, fruity or chocloatey coffee, you'll find it in Africa. Though the most important coffee fact for Africa being it is the birthplace of Coffee. Ethiopia to be precise. All coffee throughout the world can trace it's roots back to Ethiopia, before it was taken to be planted in other parts of the world.

  • Rwanda Kinini Nkanga

Grown on the slopes of the breathtaking Rulindo district of Rwanda our Nkanga coffee beans are carefully grown, picked and processed by hand. The cherries are then transported to the Kinini washing station, built in 2012 by a charity group dedicated to help rebuild the lives of widows and orphans displaced after the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Since then the charity have generated enough funds to build a new school, sustainable water source and health centre in the area. The resulting coffee beans have produced cup of excellence lots and continue to impress with strong and individual flavours. Tasting Notes: Blackberry, Cherry and Chocolate Learn More
