Description
Our bursting with flavour Burundi coffee beans are grown on a rural small holder farm against the slopes of the Gomvyi mountain in the Burundi Highlands mountain range just south of Bujumbura. Gomvyi mountain stands at 2,015 meters above sea level and constantly produces many excellent coffees from over 400 farms. This particular complex and sweet coffee delivers interesting aromas of Butterscotch Popcorn and Blackcurrent Cherries, accompanied by a bright and punchy citrus finish.

The cherries are carefully transported to the Rubanda washing station in the Mutambu region, whos attention to quality and detail is reflected in the wonderful beans that independent African coffee farms produce. The beans are sorted by hand prior to washing to ensure only the ripest cherries make their way into our roaster.
